What is InRace

InRace is a motorsport data platform built around one idea: performance claims should be backed by data. We turn GPS telemetry from your track runs into verified performance figures — engine power, acceleration intervals and lap analysis — and attach them to a public, trustworthy profile of your car.

The platform grew out of progonki.com, a racing statistics project that has been processing grassroots motorsport data — thousands of GPS power measurements, race results and lap records — since 2025. InRace brings the same engine to an international audience.

GPSDyno — horsepower from GPS data

GPSDyno estimates your car's engine power from high-frequency GPS logs (RaceBox, Dragy, RaceChrono and other loggers). The physics model reconstructs the total driving force from acceleration data and subtracts aerodynamic drag, rolling and drivetrain losses. Speed traces are resampled and smoothed on a uniform 25 Hz grid with bad GPS stretches rejected, and wind and weather are factored in. The result is an SAE-normalized BHP figure, a composite power curve and a full physics report.

It is not a certified dynamometer — it is a repeatable, physics-based estimate that you can measure anywhere, compare between runs and share with a single link.

Digital challenges

Digital challenges are GPS-based time-attack competitions on real tracks: upload a measurement made within the event window and you are automatically on the leaderboard. Classes are based on weight-to-power ratio measured by GPSDyno itself — so the field stays honest. Series add registration with a specific car, per-stage points and season standings.

Garage & blogs

Every car on InRace can have a public profile: specs, photo gallery, verified dyno history and onboard videos. One car — one trusted record that follows it through measurements and challenges.

The blog platform lets you document builds, track days and measurement sessions, with photo galleries and comments from the community.
