Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using inrace.net ("InRace", "the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

InRace provides GPS-based car performance measurement (GPSDyno), car profiles, digital time-attack challenges and a blog platform. The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available"; features may change, be added or removed as the platform evolves.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not liable for data loss caused by outages. Keep original copies of GPS logs and media you care about.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One person — one account; automated or bulk account creation is prohibited.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Security. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you upload (GPS logs, photos, videos, posts, comments). By publishing content on the Service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it as part of operating the Service — for example showing your shared measurement on a leaderboard or your post in a feed. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups.

You must own or have the rights to everything you upload. Do not post content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, defamatory or spam. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the Service, probe or bypass its security, scrape it at abusive rates, or manipulate leaderboards and challenges with falsified telemetry. Uploaded GPS files are checked for authenticity; fabricated or manipulated logs may lead to removal of results and account suspension.

Drive responsibly. Performance measurements and timed runs must only be made where it is legal and safe to do so — on race tracks and closed roads. You are solely responsible for complying with traffic laws; InRace does not encourage or condone speeding on public roads.

6. Measurement data disclaimer

GPSDyno results are physics-based estimates computed from GPS telemetry, not certified dynamometer readings. Accuracy depends on data quality, weather, surface and vehicle parameters you provide. Results are for informational and community purposes; do not rely on them where certified measurement is required (e.g. legal or commercial vehicle certification).

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and branding are the property of the InRace operator. These terms grant you no rights to them beyond normal use of the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service. Where practical, we will warn you first. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
