McLaren W1 hypercar joins Forza Horizon 6 in September

McLaren has confirmed that its W1 hypercar will arrive in Forza Horizon 6 on 10 September as part of the British Automotive Series update. The vehicle will be available exclusively through the Car Pass DLC rather than as a free in-game reward.

The W1 is included in the Car Pass, which comes bundled with Deluxe and Premium editions of the game or can be purchased separately. The full Car Pass is planned to contain 30 vehicles upon completion, with individual cars available for $2.99 / £2.99 each.

Three additional new-to-series vehicles will also be announced alongside the W1 on 10 September. The W1 itself is positioned as the successor to the legendary McLaren F1 and P1, featuring a mid-mounted hybrid V8 engine producing 1,258 horsepower.

The September update will also introduce a new Drift Attack mode, while a 7-Eleven themed series has been confirmed for October.
