Faggioli clinches 19th Italian hillclimb title at Nissena

Simone Faggioli has secured his nineteenth Italian national hillclimb championship title after winning the opening race of the 71st Coppa Nissena. The Florence-based driver, competing for Best Lap in a Nova Proto, set a winning time of 1'59"92 on the Sicilian course.

Faggioli's decisive performance at the final timing point saw him edge out Stefano Di Fulvio of Abruzzo, who mounted a strong challenge during the event.
