Warman claims maiden eNASCAR iRacing win in Texas thriller

Quentin Warman secured his first career victory in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series on Tuesday night at Texas Motor Speedway, denying both Seth DeMerchant and defending champion Steven Wilson in a dramatic three-wide finish. The Qualifying Series standout lined up third for the final restart and executed a decisive move through Turns 1 and 2 to edge ahead of both rivals and claim the win in his 29th career start.

Warman's breakthrough came in a race where the postseason picture remained fluid heading into the final laps. With three Championship 4 Finale spots still available and one race remaining, the field endured five cautions that repeatedly shuffled the running order. Wilson, already locked into the finale via his Michigan victory two weeks prior, led 25 laps but ultimately fell short in his bid to repeat his late-race heroics. DeMerchant finished second, 0.081 seconds behind, while Tucker Minter of William Byron eSports claimed third and kept his own Championship 4 hopes alive.

The race featured multiple turning points in the battle for playoff positioning. Parker White and Vicente Salas both suffered late-race damage in a collision with Michael Cosey Jr and were forced into must-win scenarios at Kansas Speedway next week, finishing 38th and 39th respectively. Casey Kirwan of Kansas City Pioneers also struggled throughout, pitting early and later getting caught up in contact with Femi Olatunbosun, further complicating his path to the finale.

With Warman's victory, he becomes the 71st different winner in eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series history and the second first-time winner of the 2026 season, joining Garrett Manes who won at Daytona. Warman elevated himself to 11th in the overall standings, positioning himself 69 points clear of the relegation line with two races remaining. At Kansas next week, at least two drivers will lock into the Championship 4 on points, with a potential third if none of the contenders secure a win.
