MOZA unveils PlayStation 5-compatible steering wheel bases
MOZA has introduced two new steering wheel bases with official PlayStation 5 support, unveiled at Tokyo Game Show. The R16S Ultra and R5S Pro represent adapted versions of the manufacturer's existing R16 Ultra and R5 Pro models, engineered specifically for Sony's console.
The flagship R16S Ultra will deliver approximately 16 Nm of torque, positioning it as a direct competitor to the Fanatec ClubSport DD+ (18 Nm). The entry-level R5S Pro, rated at around 6 Nm, targets users seeking an alternative to the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro and Thrustmaster T598.
Alongside the wheel bases, MOZA showcased a redesigned steering wheel featuring an expanded button layout and a revised two-pedal set based on the SR-P platform. The primary advantage of these new products is native PlayStation 5 compatibility—PS5 owners will be able to use MOZA equipment without third-party adapters. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
