FX Racing Weekend returns at Vallelunga for American Festival
Five FX Racing Weekend categories will resume competition at Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga from 18–20 September as part of the American Festival of Rome. The event will feature twelve races across FX Pro Series, Trofeo Predator's, Legend Cars, FX2 and X-F3, running as support races to the NASCAR Euro Series programme.
FX Pro Series heads to the Roman circuit following a competitive Monza round where Giulio Luci (FG Racing) claimed his maiden victory in Race 1, while championship leader Salvatore Liotti responded with a win in Race 2. Liotti maintains his position at the top of the standings ahead of Vallelunga. The Trofeo Predator's category will field 26 cars, with Riccardo Tocu arriving as the favourite after sweeping both races at Magione. Legend Cars will run six races across two groups, with 51 drivers entered; Alessandro Bollini won three races in Group A at Magione, while Simone Bonci took two victories in Group B.
In the single-seater categories, Federico Crozzolo (Battaglia Racing Car) brings momentum from a double victory at Magione in FX2, while X-F3 will contest its third round of the season following a mixed Monza event where Andrea Masci and Mateo Valente each claimed a race win. FX2 and X-F3 will share the grid at Vallelunga as per the official schedule.
Racing begins on Saturday 19 September at 12:55 with Legend Cars Group A, followed by Group B at 15:55. Trofeo Predator's Race 1 runs at 16:30, FX Pro Series at 18:10, and the combined X-F3/FX2 grid at 18:45. Sunday 20 September features Legend Cars Group A at 09:25, X-F3/FX2 at 10:00, Trofeo Predator's at 10:35, and afternoon races for both Legend Cars groups and FX Pro Series.
