Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship returns at Spa

The 2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series kicks off this Saturday, September 19th, at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, bringing together 32 of the world's top sim racers. All competitors earned their place through the Porsche Esports Supercup Regional Championships, where more than 100 drivers across four regions competed for eight transfer spots each.

The grid features a mix of established champions and fresh talent. Returning are two-time series champion Sebastian Job, one-time champion Diogo Pinto, and defending world champion Cooper Webster, alongside regional winners including Dayne Warren, Florian Lebigre, Charlie Collins, Alejandro Sanchez, Xander Reed, Patrick Kessel, Dylan Allen, Gustavo Ariel, and Mitchell deJong. Notably, 19 rookies have qualified for the world championship, including Kessel and Allen, seeking to follow in the footsteps of past breakthrough performers like Joshua Rogers.

Last season's championship came down to a dramatic finale at Le Mans, where Webster claimed the title over Jordan Caruso of Coanda Esports. The 2025 campaign saw intense competition between Coanda and the Verstappen Sim Racing group, which merged with Team Redline and Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing. When the series last visited Spa in 2025, Mitchell deJong set the fastest qualifying time, but Webster and Chris Lulham dominated the Sprint race, with Sebastian Job taking the Feature victory.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, home to the iconic Eau Rouge corner, spans 4.3 miles across 20 turns in its current configuration, which has remained largely unchanged since 1979. The venue has hosted the Belgian Grand Prix and the Spa 24 Hours for nearly a century.
