Ian Bell remains Straight4 CEO during transition period

Ian Bell, founder of Straight4 Studios, has clarified his current role at the company via social media. Although the studio announced the appointment of Kevin Boland as new head during the summer, Bell formally retains the position of CEO at Straight4 Ltd.

The studio explained its organisational structure: the Straight4 group comprises several separate legal entities. Bell continues to hold the CEO title within Straight4 Ltd specifically, while Boland now leads the main group structure and oversees day-to-day studio operations and development of Project Motor Racing. The transfer of responsibilities is undergoing legal formalisation, a process that requires time to complete.

In the same statement, Bell touched on the possibility of reviving the GT Legends series. He suggested that rights to the original 2005 game could potentially remain with him. However, this remains speculative at present and does not constitute an official development announcement.
