53rd Castellana Hillclimb in Orvieto set for Italian championship rounds

The 53rd Cronoscalata della Castellana will take place in Orvieto from 25–27 September as a double-header round of the Italian Speed Mountain Championship (north and south divisions). The event will be formally presented at the municipal council chamber on Wednesday 23 September at 17:30, with entry registrations closing on Monday 21 September.

The hillclimb has grown into a significant fixture on the Italian club racing calendar, drawing competitors and teams from across the country. The event is being broadcast live by ACI Sport TV, with daily reports on social media and full coverage of both Sunday 27 September races on Sky channel 228 and Tivùsat channel 52, plus streaming.

Orvieto's long association with the Castellana event—now celebrating its 60th anniversary—has made the competition central to the city's sporting identity. The weekend will feature prominent entries across multiple categories, reflecting the hillclimb's standing within the Italian motorsport community.
