270 collegiate iRacers compete in eNASCAR College series qualifier

Over 270 eligible collegiate sim racers participated in the Peachtree Pursuit, a time attack qualifier for the 2026-27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Logitech G, held at EchoPark Speedway from September 15–20. The event determined 100 qualifiers for the season opener scheduled for September 23rd.

A total of 368 students registered for the series, representing 228 schools across the United States and Canada. Seventy-five schools will field competitors in the opening week, with 56 institutions eligible for the new School Championship. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte leads participation with 14 entries advancing to the Quarterfinals out of more than 30 registered students.

Dylan Ault of California State University, Sacramento set the quickest time in the time attack phase and earned the No. 1 seed in Group 1. Jacob Wilkerson from Tarrant County College District qualified second and will lead Group 2. Other notable competitors include defending series champion Connor Yeroschak (University of Calgary), former eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series competitor Brian Mercurio (DeSales University), and returning drivers Daniel Nanney (Ball State), Zach Sprouse (George Mason), and Connor Trifari (UNC Charlotte).

UNC Charlotte's dominance represents a shift in the traditional rivalry landscape. The University of Northwestern Ohio, which competed heavily last season, has only one transfer qualifier in Tyler Skoczen. Bowling Green emerged as the second-strongest school with five transfers led by Joseph Peterson. Week 1 competition begins Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. ET, with Week 2 following on September 30th. Only 40 students will advance from the Semifinals to the Final Round.
