Kunos announces Eifel free-roam region for Assetto Corsa EVO
Kunos Simulazioni has confirmed plans to add a free-roam mode covering the Eifel region around the Nürburgring to Assetto Corsa EVO, with the first section arriving in an upcoming major update.
Kunos Simulazioni has officially announced the first phase of a free-roam region centred on the Eifel area in Assetto Corsa EVO. The initial portion of the map surrounding the Nürburgring will release alongside the simulator's next significant update, though the full region will be rolled out incrementally in separate sections.
The developer has not yet disclosed an exact release date for version 0.10, which will introduce the first part of the Eifel region. The scope of the initial open area and the activities available to players at launch remain unconfirmed.
During the announcement, Kunos shared preview footage of the road traffic system that will populate the free-roam mode. Published screenshots reveal various vehicles and infrastructure elements, ranging from a car dealership and concrete mixer to agricultural machinery, including a combine harvester. Full video footage of the free-roam experience has not yet been released.
