eNASCAR College Series: 40 drivers advance to Peachtree Pursuit final
The first week of the 2026–27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series concluded with 40 students advancing to the Final Round after competing in Quarterfinal and Semifinal rounds at EchoPark Speedway on Wednesday.
One hundred students entered the opening week of the Peachtree Pursuit, the inaugural tournament of the 2026–27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Logitech G, at EchoPark Speedway on Wednesday night. After two groups progressed through Quarterfinal and Semifinal rounds, 40 drivers secured their places in the Final Round.
Connor Trifari of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte claimed victory in Group 1, holding off No. 1 seed Dylan Ault from California State University, Sacramento, to earn the opening 10-point payout. In Group 2, defending series champion Connor Yeroschak of the University of Calgary took the win ahead of Abraham Vela from the University of Houston, also securing 10 points.
UNC Charlotte proved the strongest performer in Week 1, advancing six of their 14 entrants to the Final Round. Bowling Green State University qualified five drivers initially but saw that number reduced to two after the Semifinals. Other notable qualifiers include Bradley Erickson (Arizona State), Nick Luetje (Purdue Indianapolis), Maverick Davis (Kettering), Adam Garza (Triton), Jonathan Evans (Western Connecticut), and Layne Graves (Wichita State). Several major programmes—Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson, Texas at Austin, Texas Tech, and Georgia—failed to advance any drivers.
The University of Michigan returns to the series with Joonsuh Lim, marking a change from previous seasons, while Liberty University now fields Jayden Browder in place of former drivers such as Malachi Drake. A substantial cohort of first-time competitors also advanced, including Van Drugmand (Austin Peay State), Brian Mercurio (DeSales), Zander McKinney (Bowling Green), and four UNC Charlotte drivers: Aiden McFarland, Bryan Holland, John Babineau, and Shawn Hillkewicz.
Points awarded in Week 1 Semifinals will carry forward to the Final Round, though drivers who do not compete in Week 2 will forfeit their accumulated points. Trifari and Yeroschak lead the Student Standings entering the conclusion. Ten schools—Arizona State, Ball State, Belmont Abbey, Bowling Green, Eastern Shore, Kent State, Liberty, Purdue Indianapolis, Calgary, and UNC Charlotte—are also eligible to compete for the School Championship, with the highest-finishing driver from each school contributing to their institution's final tally.
The Final Round will take place on Wednesday, 30 September, at 7:00 p.m. ET, featuring a 100-lap race with all 40 trucks on track at EchoPark Speedway. The tournament winner will receive $3,000 and advance toward the $10,000 championship prize available later in the spring semester. The event will stream live at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing's social media channels, with pre-race coverage beginning 15 minutes prior.
