RENNSPORT 1.2.15 adds four cars and Nürburgring Nordschleife

The RENNSPORT simulator has been updated to version 1.2.15, bringing substantial improvements to gameplay mechanics and visual fidelity. The artificial intelligence system for rival drivers has been overhauled, with competitors now better tracking the player's position and other vehicles on track, maintaining more precise adherence to track limits, and exhibiting more appropriate behaviour across different difficulty levels.

Visual enhancements include a reworked lighting system with improved night visibility and reduced glare from vehicle headlights. On console versions, a new option allows players to disable motion blur for sharper image clarity.

PlayStation 5 owners benefit from a redesigned force feedback system for direct-drive steering wheels, with increased FFB strength and eliminated lag when using H-pattern shifters, intended to enhance the overall driving feel. The developers have also refined the penalty system for track-limit violations and fixed numerous bugs related to race replays, user interface, loading times, and general simulator stability.

Concurrently with the update, the Kings of the Ring DLC has launched, introducing four new vehicles: the KTM X-Bow GT2, BMW M1 Procar, Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, and the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. Notably, the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo marks the first implementation of DRS (Drag Reduction System) functionality in RENNSPORT.
