The Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series continues this Saturday, September 26th at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom, bringing together 32 of the world's top sim racers for the second round of a five-round season. The competition will be streamed live starting at 19:00 GMT (3:00 p.m. ET) via Porsche's YouTube and Twitch channels.
Florian Lebigre and Charlie Collins arrive at Silverstone as co-championship leaders following the opening round at Spa-Francorchamps. Lebigre dominated the Sprint race with pole position and a commanding drive, while Collins claimed victory in the Main race after a dramatic final-lap incident involving Lebigre's teammate Gustavo Ariel at Eau Rouge and Raidillon. Both drivers now sit level on points heading into the British venue, with questions mounting over whether their respective teammates—Ariel at Verstappen Sim Racing and Mitchell deJong at Coanda Esports—can mount a challenge to their early dominance.
Silverstone has hosted the Porsche Esports Supercup only once in recent seasons, in March 2022, when Sebastian Job and Alejandro Sánchez claimed the Sprint and Main race victories respectively. The circuit, a former World War II airfield in England's midlands, remains one of motorsport's most storied venues, having hosted the inaugural Formula One World Championship race in 1950. Though modern safety requirements have added chicanes to slow speeds, Silverstone retains its reputation for fast, sweeping corners and high average lap times.
Following Silverstone, the championship moves to Suzuka Circuit for the third round on Saturday, October 3rd, with live coverage again beginning at 19:00 GMT.
