GPSDyno telemetry comparison tool gets major update
Progonki Sim Racing has released an overhauled version of GPSDyno, its telemetry analysis platform, enabling three-way driver comparisons with sector-by-sector breakdowns and detailed turn-by-turn metrics.
Progonki Sim Racing has completed development of an upgraded GPSDyno telemetry comparison system, introducing a more granular approach to performance analysis. The revised tool now supports simultaneous comparison of three drivers' data with enhanced visualisation and detailed metrics for every circuit element.
The core improvement replaces the previous ten-segment track division with real circuit geometry, organising data by laps and five sectors (S1–S5). Best-performing sectors are highlighted in purple, while an ideal lap composite is displayed separately. Each turn now offers comprehensive telemetry: sector time, minimum speed, braking point, and exit velocity.
The new interface allows users to click on any sector or turn to zoom both graphs and track map to that element, recalculating deltas from the entry point. When comparing three telemetries, the system displays delta and speed comparison maps across all opponents simultaneously, eliminating blank windows during driver switching.
Three measurement modes are available: time delta, speed, and power. A new longitudinal g-force panel has been added for analysing longitudinal acceleration data. The feature set was demonstrated using telemetry from the Rygana crew recorded on 22 September at ADM Raceway during a video production comparing a sim racer, coach, and content creator.
