SMP Esports updates BR03 and LADA Vesta mods for sim racing
SMP Esports has released updated versions of three popular car mods for racing simulators, including the BR03 formula car and two generations of the LADA Vesta.
SMP Esports has unveiled revised versions of widely-used mods for racing simulators, focusing on three vehicles: the BR03 open-wheel racer, the contemporary LADA Vesta NG TCR touring car, and the original-generation LADA Vesta.
The BR03 has received a comprehensive balance pass on tyre characteristics, narrowing the performance gap between different compound options and reducing degradation rates. The soft compound cooling has been improved, broadcast camera angles have been reworked, and pit-stop duration for tyre changes has been extended. Visual refinements to the steering wheel display and audio corrections have also been implemented.
The LADA Vesta NG TCR benefits from updated suspension geometry at both front and rear axles. The development team has corrected numerous visual errors in the 3D model and adjusted the engine torque curve.
The original LADA Vesta receives enhanced physics ported from the newer model variant. The car now features its own rear suspension design and independent front and rear suspension travel, along with an increased wheelbase. Visual errors in the three-dimensional model have been addressed.
The updated mods are available for individual download and as part of the package for participation in RAF (Russian Association of Sim Racing Fans) competitions.
