Papworth crowned 2026 Time Attack Pocket Rocket FI champion

Gary Papworth has been crowned the 2026 Time Attack Pocket Rocket Forced Induction champion after a dominant season in his Norfolk Mini Racing Mini Cooper S. The driver established himself as the class benchmark from the opening round and remarkably carried a perfect record through the first six rounds, consistently delivering when required.

Papworth's campaign was not without competition. Jake Langley remained a consistent threat throughout the season, while Joe Bullen demonstrated increasing pace as the year progressed. At the second Brands Hatch visit, Bullen topped both Attack sessions before Papworth responded in Super Attack to preserve his unbeaten streak.

Papworth sealed his championship-winning campaign at Cadwell Park, topping the Pocket Rocket FI class once more and setting a new class record in the process. Jake Langley finished second in the championship standings, with Joe Bullen taking third place.

The 2026 season saw strong competition across the Pocket Rocket Forced Induction category, with all competitors contributing to what the series described as a fantastic season of Time Attack racing.
