iRacing Bathurst 1000 team endurance event launches October 11
iRacing is hosting a 1000-kilometre team endurance race at Mount Panorama Circuit on October 11, featuring Gen 3 Supercars in multiple time slots across the weekend, with the top split broadcast on Saturday at 12:00 GMT.
iRacing's Special Events calendar is featuring the Bathurst 1000 presented by Next Level Racing, a team-based endurance race at Mount Panorama Circuit in New South Wales, Australia. Drivers will compete in the Gen 3 Supercars Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang over 1000 kilometres (161 laps) in the sim's team racing format.
The event runs across five time slots from October 11–12. The broadcasted top split takes place on Saturday at 12:00 GMT (8:00 a.m. ET), with RACESPOT providing commentary available at iRacing.com/live. Additional sessions are scheduled at 03:00 GMT, 07:00 GMT, 16:00 GMT on Saturday, and 00:00 GMT on Sunday, accommodating participants across different time zones.
Teams must register between October 2–4, with a minimum of two drivers and a maximum of 16 per entry. All declared drivers must meet a lap-share threshold relative to the team's total distance. The event features open setup, dynamic weather, a 30-minute warmup, and an eight-minute qualifying session. Splits are determined by iRating, with up to 30 teams per split. Participation requires a Sports Car license at Class C or higher, or Class D with a 4.0 Safety Rating.
Incident penalties include Stop and Go penalties after 50 incidents, with disqualification occurring at 150 incident points per team. Registration opens 60 minutes before each session.
