Pinto and Warren claim Silverstone victories in Porsche Esports Supercup

Diogo Pinto and Dayne Warren each claimed victories at Silverstone Circuit on Saturday in the second round of the 2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series on iRacing. Pinto's Verstappen Sim Racing machine took the eight-lap Sprint, while Warren's Coanda Esports entry dominated the 15-lap Main race, leading all laps from pole position.

Pinto's qualifying performance proved decisive in the Sprint. The former series champion secured pole by just 0.003 seconds over Alejandro Sánchez and controlled the race throughout, managing the effects of dirty air to hold the lead for all eight laps. "Just got my hard work done in quali, of course, with the pole, and then just had to take it home," Pinto said. "It's really, really difficult in these cars to do any close racing with the dirty air, so I knew that I just had to stay clean and yeah, it was all good." He finished sixth in the Main after inverting from eighth on the grid.

Warren's Main victory marked a strong rebound after a difficult outing at Spa-Francorchamps the previous week. The Asia-Pacific driver struggled in the Sprint, finishing eighth after qualifying seventh, but the inverted grid for the Main worked in his favour. Leading from start to finish, Warren secured his first win of the season and moved to ninth in the championship standings, 46 points behind leader Charlie Collins. "I was having a shocker in the Sprint, to be honest," Warren reflected. "I was just killing the tires, and Cooper was giving me the business, so get the reverse Sprint, and get it done, is such a huge relief. Spa definitely didn't go our way, regardless if the pace was there or not, but I'm glad I was able to show something this round for sure."

Cooper Webster, the defending world champion from Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing, finished second in the Main behind Warren, maintaining his position in the title fight. Collins extended his championship lead to one point over Sebastian Job after the Silverstone round, with Florian Lebigre dropping to third following a difficult Main race where he lost positions to both Collins and Job. The standings now show Collins on 124 points, Job on 123, and Lebigre on 115.

The series continues with the third round at Suzuka Circuit on Saturday, 3 October, with live coverage beginning at 19:00 GMT (3:00 p.m. ET) via Porsche's YouTube and Twitch channels.
