SMP Esports launches five-round BR03 virtual championship

SMP Esports is launching the BR03 Cup, a five-round virtual racing championship open to all competitors. The series will feature the Russian BR03 prototype, with participants able to choose between the 2021 historical version and the modern EVO variant. Both versions have recently received updates and are functionally identical, differing only in appearance.

The championship calendar spans five rounds across October, November and December. The opening round takes place on 4 October at Brands Hatch in the United Kingdom, followed by Mugello in Italy on 25 October. The remaining three rounds are held at domestic Russian circuits: Kazan Ring on 8 November, Moscow Raceway on 22 November, and Sochi Autodrom on 13 December.

Each round will be structured in two phases. A multi-day pre-qualification period begins in the coming days, allowing drivers to establish their grid positions. The final stage consists of online competition featuring two sprint races with live streaming.

To participate, drivers must download a dedicated package containing the vehicle model and track extensions for the first two rounds. Brands Hatch is included in Dream Pack 3 DLC for Assetto Corsa. Registration for each round will open on the official SMP Esports website shortly before the event.
