64th Svolte di Popoli hillclimb kicks off Italian season

The 64th edition of the Svolte di Popoli hillclimb took place near Pescara in central Italy, organised by the local Svolte di Popoli association and the Pescara Automobile Club. The event counted towards both the Italian National Hillclimb Championship (north and south divisions) and the Italian two-cylinder car championship.

A field of 115 drivers competed in the event, each completing two passes up the course. The hillclimb is a traditional fixture on the Italian grassroots motorsport calendar and continues a legacy spanning six decades.
