Straight4 Studios undergoes major restructuring
Straight4 Studios, developer of the racing simulator Project Motor Racing, has undergone significant organisational changes with multiple departures from leadership and staff.
Straight4 Studios is navigating a period of substantial internal restructuring. Operations director Ryan Howie has departed the studio, while Ian Bell has stepped down from multiple leadership positions across the company. Kevin Boland now holds consolidated control over the organisation's structures.
Beyond the executive level, the studio has seen departures of several key team members in recent weeks, including producers, artists, a sound engineer, the marketing director, and other specialists. The scale of the personnel changes signals a significant reorganisation within the company.
Despite the ongoing transition, Boland confirmed that development of Project Motor Racing continues uninterrupted. According to his statement, the remaining team remains focused on advancing the simulator and implementing further improvements to the project.
