iRacing DTM Series launches at Hockenheimring
iRacing has launched a new DTM Series featuring the 2026 real-world championship cars, with races at Hockenheimring on Thursday evenings across multiple global time zones.
The iRacing DTM Series brings the format of Germany's premier touring car championship to the simulation platform, with races scheduled for Thursday evenings at 8 PM in the AEDT, CET, ET, and PT time zones to accommodate participants worldwide.
Each race runs for 55 minutes under timed format, mirroring the structure of the real-world DTM series. The series uses the same cars as the 2026 DTM championship, with fuel tank capacity limited to introduce pit strategy as a tactical element during competition.
The opening round takes place at Hockenheimring. Further details about the iRacing DTM Series are available on the iRacing website.
