Original Fire Games scales back; iRacing takes full control of Arcade

Original Fire Games, the studio behind iRacing Arcade, has announced a significant staff reduction, with only three founders remaining after seven years of operation.

Original Fire Games has undergone a major restructuring, with the studio retaining only its three founders while the rest of the team departs. The decision follows years of sustained workload and professional burnout among staff members.

The founders plan to take time away to recover and reassess the studio's future direction. While Original Fire Games is not closing entirely, no new projects have been announced at this stage.

Development of iRacing Arcade, the mobile racing simulator created by the studio, has been transferred entirely to iRacing, which now handles all ongoing support and updates. According to the developers, this transition was part of the original agreement between Original Fire Games and iRacing from the outset of their partnership.
