Assetto Corsa EVO Free Roam adds 1:1 Eifel map with multiplayer
Assetto Corsa EVO's Free Roam mode now features a 1:1 recreation of the Nürburgring Eifel area with multiplayer support, AI traffic, dynamic weather and Time Attack events.
Kunos Simulazioni has revealed the Free Roam feature for Assetto Corsa EVO, introducing a 1:1 scale map of the Nürburgring Eifel region. The mode combines open-world exploration with competitive and social elements designed for both casual and serious sim racers.
Free Roam supports multiplayer sessions where drivers can share the same environment, alongside AI traffic to populate the roads. Dynamic weather systems will shift conditions in real time, affecting grip and visibility across the mapped area. Time Attack events are integrated into the mode, allowing players to set and chase lap times within the free-roam environment.
The feature expands Assetto Corsa EVO's scope beyond traditional circuit racing, positioning the sim as a platform for varied driving experiences on one of motorsport's most iconic road courses.
