9th Coppa Faro Pesaro Previews 2026 CIVSA Historic Hillclimb Finale
The ninth edition of the Coppa Faro in Pesaro will serve as the concluding round of the Italian Historic Hillclimb Championship with 84 drivers registered.
The City Council Hall in Pesaro hosted the official presentation of the 9th Coppa Faro, which will serve as the ninth and final round of the Campionato Italiano Velocità Salita Auto Storiche (CIVSA). Organized by P&G Racing under the supervision of event founder Alessandro Rinolfi, the historic hillclimb has drawn an entry list of 84 drivers to the Adriatic coast.
Scrutineering and administrative checks begin on Friday afternoon from 15:00 to 19:30 and continue Saturday morning between 08:00 and 10:00. The competitive action gets underway on Saturday at 14:00 with two practice reconnaissance heats, leading into the decisive two-heat race format on Sunday morning starting at 08:30 under the direction of race director Fabrizio Bernetti and deputy Stefano Torcellan.
The 3.8-kilometer hillclimb route, known as the "Salita sul Mare," starts from the seaside paddock at Baia Flaminia in the former Campo di Marte area and winds up through the scenic San Bartolo Natural Park to the lighthouse overlooking Pesaro. This year, race headquarters and administrative checks will be hosted directly within the San Bartolo Park Authority headquarters on Via Varsavia adjacent to the paddock.
Local authorities and motorsport officials attending the presentation—including Pesaro Mayor Andrea Biancani, Sports Councilor Mila Della Dora, ACI Pesaro-Urbino Director Antonella Mati, and Terra di Piloti e Motori President Alberto Paccapelo—highlighted the event's cultural and tourism impact. In line with previous editions, organizers confirmed an environmental commitment by donating 100 trees to the natural park, alongside charitable contributions to UNICEF, Anffas, and Alias.
