Forza Horizon 6 PlayStation 5 Release Delayed to January 2027
Playground Games has postponed the PlayStation 5 launch of Forza Horizon 6 to 26 January 2027.
Developer Playground Games has officially revised the launch schedule for the PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 6. According to the studio's announcement, the racing title is now slated to arrive on Sony's console on 26 January 2027, shifting away from earlier plans shared just a month ago that targeted a release before the end of 2026.
Players purchasing the Premium Edition will be granted early access beginning five days prior to the general release, opening on 21 January. Alongside the early unlock, this edition will package the first major content expansion, though specific details and the theme of the add-on remain undisclosed.
The schedule adjustment follows community frustration regarding the studio's communication standards. Earlier in the week, Playground Games representatives acknowledged shortcomings in how information had been shared with players and stated their intention to overhaul their audience engagement strategy.
