Gianluca Grossi to Conclude 2026 Hillclimb Campaign at 9th Coppa Faro
Milanese driver Gianluca Grossi will finish his Campionato Italiano Velocità Salita Autostoriche season behind the wheel of a Triumph Dolomite Sprint at the 9th Coppa Faro.
Gianluca Grossi is set to contest the final round of the Italian Historic Hillclimb Championship (CIVSA), entering the 9th Coppa Faro aboard a Triumph Dolomite Sprint. The event in the Marche region will mark the end of the 2026 historic racing campaign for the Novara Corse competitor and head of Autoclassiche Milano.
The Pesaro event climbs 3,780 meters from the city up toward the Monte San Bartolo lighthouse, hosting the season's decisive runs for remaining class honors. Grossi will once again pilot the British classic entered by Roberto Percivale's squad, continuing a successful partnership formed throughout the CIVSA calendar.
Grossi noted that having recently concluded his modern hillclimb season at Orvieto, his focus turns entirely to securing a strong historic class finish at Coppa Faro. The weekend schedule opens with technical scrutineering at the Campo di Marte parking grounds, followed by two practice ascents on Saturday afternoon and two competitive race heats on Sunday to wrap up the championship.
