SIMRIG Unveils Belt Module with Active Harness Feedback
The new SIMRIG Belt Module introduces active harness tensioning capable of delivering up to 30 kg of force per side based on telemetry data.
SIMRIG has expanded its simulation ecosystem with the announcement of the SIMRIG Belt Module, an active harness tensioning system designed to increase immersion in sim racing cockpits.
The hardware is capable of providing up to 30 kg of active force per side. It operates independently across each strap to recreate dynamic forces based on real-time telemetry output, specifically targeting sensations experienced during heavy braking and cornering loads.
By pulling against the driver during deceleration and lateral weight transfers, the module aims to complement existing motion systems or serve as an additional layer of physical feedback for static simulator setups.
