Luigi Vinaccia claimed his seventh career victory at the 31st running of the Slalom Torregrotta-Roccavaldina in Sicily. Driving his 2000cc Osella PA 6/9, the Massa Lubrense native took the top step exactly 25 years after his first triumph at the Messina event in 2001, setting the decisive penalty-free benchmark in Race 3 with a run of 2'44.23 to post a winning score of 164.23 points.

Silvio Fiore pushed Vinaccia to the limit, placing his 1150cc Radical SR4 just 0.68 seconds back with 164.91 points. Newly crowned Italian champion Salvatore Venanzio completed the podium on 173.47 points aboard his Nova Proto NP01. Although Venanzio recorded the fastest raw stage times across the event, cone penalties in both the first and third heats held him to third overall. Nevertheless, the podium finish was enough for Venanzio to wrap up the National Championship title.

Weather conditions proved volatile across the mountain course, with variable rain shaking up proceedings. After Vinaccia won the opening heat ahead of Fiore, heavier rain over the upper section during Race 2 compromised running and prompted several top contenders to sit out the manche entirely. Race 3 settled the order as track conditions stabilized.

Behind the podium trio, Michele Poma finished fourth in a 1600cc Radical SR4 (174.18), followed closely by local competitor Giovanni Greco (174.70) and Santi Leo (177.76), making it four Radicals in the top six. Antonino Di Matteo piloted his Gloria C8 to seventh overall as the fastest single-seater, while Domenico Gangemi placed eighth in his Group E1 1400cc Fiat 127 to finish as the best-ranked touring car. Giuseppe Luca Radici (Semog cross-kart) and Antonino Piria (Ermolli) completed the top ten.
