Simagic to Unveil Active Pedal and New Formula Steering Wheel on 14 October
Simagic has scheduled the official reveal of its long-awaited active pedal and a new formula-style steering wheel for 14 October.
Simagic has announced the official presentation of its active pedal system, scheduled to take place on 14 October. The debut comes nearly two years after the manufacturer first showcased an early concept of the hardware at SimRacing Expo 2024.
Unlike conventional pedal assemblies relying on springs and elastomers, active pedals employ an electric motor. This motorized architecture allows drivers to adjust travel, resistance profiles, and overall pedal behavior entirely via software, tailoring response to different cars and preferences.
Detailed technical specifications and retail pricing remain undisclosed. Industry observers expect Simagic's offering to position itself closer in price to the MOZA mBooster rather than the premium Simucube ActivePedal. In addition to the pedal assembly, recent teaser materials hint at a brand-new formula-style steering wheel, which will also be fully unveiled during the upcoming presentation.
