The second tournament of the 2026-27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Logitech G reaches its climax on Wednesday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Following an intense opening week of action that whittled down an initial field of 100 collegiate sim racers across Quarterfinal and Semifinal heats, only 40 drivers representing their colleges and universities have earned places on the starting grid for the final race of the Queen City Crown.

The decisive event will see the remaining 40 drivers contest a 100-lap showdown around Charlotte's 1.5-mile oval. For the first time in the tournament, full-course cautions will be enabled. At stake is a $3,000 top prize alongside crucial points toward both the individual Student Championship and the School Championship, where 13 eligible institutions remain in contention. Coverage begins Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET via eNASCAR.com/live and official iRacing social channels.

Week 1 action was split across two competitive groups. In Group 1, Tarrant County College District driver Jacob Wilkerson—who already secured victory in the season-opening Peachtree Pursuit—extended his points advantage by claiming the Semifinal win over Adam Garza of Triton College and Bradley Erickson of Arizona State University. In Group 2, DeSales University's Brian Mercurio took the Semifinal victory ahead of reigning series champion Connor Yeroschak of the University of Calgary, who arrives fresh off a runner-up finish in the premier eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series title fight.

The series features NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series machinery and offers $60,000 in collegiate scholarships throughout the campaign. Following the Charlotte finale, the championship will pivot toward road racing for the Big Apple Battle at Watkins Glen International, an IMSA-backed event featuring the Ford Mustang GT4 with Time Attack qualifying scheduled for October 20–25.
