Modding team Race Sim Studio has officially released the Formula Hybrid 2026, introducing its next-generation open-wheel racing car for Assetto Corsa.
The new car has been designed around the upcoming technical regulations, bringing a modernised simulation platform to the title. Key features introduced in this release include an adaptive Energy Recovery System (ERS), upgraded vehicle dynamics, and complex onboard electronics designed to mimic anticipated real-world powertrains.
Alongside the vehicle model, the release incorporates advanced live telemetry functionality and a dedicated virtual race engineer system to assist sim racers with real-time operational feedback and powertrain management during track sessions.
