Mirko Torsellini Debuts Nova Proto NP01 at 64th Alghero – Scala Piccada
Siena native Mirko Torsellini will contest the 64th Alghero – Scala Piccada hillclimb in Sardinia aboard a Nova Proto NP01 to prepare for the 2027 Campionato Italiano Supersalita season.
Italian driver Mirko Torsellini is set to take on the 64th running of the Alghero – Scala Piccada hillclimb in Sardinia this weekend. The outing serves as a competitive test run as the driver from Siena gets behind the wheel of a Nova Proto NP01.
The prototype was previously raced by French competitor Kevin Petit. Torsellini's debut in the machinery forms part of an ambitious preparation program ahead of a targeted assault on the 2027 Campionato Italiano Supersalita campaign.
The project began taking shape only days ago, following initial test mileage completed last week ahead of the Sardinian hillclimb event.
