MOZA Racing to Unveil PS5 Direct Drive Wheelbases and MotoGP Controller at SimRacing Expo
MOZA Racing has announced a lineup of new sim racing hardware for SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, including PS5-compatible direct drive wheelbases and a dedicated motorcycle handlebar controller.
Sim racing hardware manufacturer MOZA Racing has detailed its upcoming showcase for the SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, scheduled from 16 to 18 October. Headlining the manufacturer's display are the R5S Pro and R16S Ultra packages, both featuring native PlayStation 5 compatibility. The new direct drive wheelbases will deliver peak torque figures of 6 Nm and 16 Nm respectively, with release dates and pricing scheduled to be disclosed on 16 October.
In addition to console hardware, the brand will introduce an officially licensed MotoGP controller shaped like a full-size motorcycle handlebar. Designed to work directly with MOZA direct drive wheelbases, the controller translates force feedback effects and responds not only to standard steering inputs but also to the physical leaning angle of the virtual bike.
MOZA Racing's exhibition will also feature a collection of officially licensed steering wheels developed in collaboration with Porsche, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Lamborghini. Visitors will also be able to inspect the company's HMA150 motion platform as well as specialized flight simulation controls.
