Morgane Ranchet has claimed her maiden title in the Championnat de France de la Montagne VHC, completing a resilient 2026 campaign shaped by steady progress alongside persistent mechanical challenges.

The driver from Auvergne succeeds Viviane Bonnardel, who had remained the sole recipient of the championship's women's title since the category's inception in 2014.

Achieving the crown in only her second season of motorsport competition, Ranchet overcame multiple changes of car and engine across the year to secure her title goal.
