RENNSPORT Releases Update 1.2.18 and Hypercar Expansion Pack
The latest 1.2.18 update for RENNSPORT introduces the Hypercar Expansion Pack with four new prototypes alongside grid expansions and physics revisions.
The developers of the RENNSPORT racing simulator have deployed update 1.2.18, launching alongside the brand-new Hypercar Expansion Pack. The DLC introduces four top-tier endurance prototypes to the title's roster:
- Lamborghini SC63
- Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH
- Toyota TR010 Hybrid
- Genesis GMR-001
These additions join the existing prototype lineup, which already features the BMW M Hybrid V8, Porsche 963, and Peugeot 9X8. Along with the new machinery, the entire hypercar class has received a major technical overhaul, including updated balance of performance, revised aerodynamics, adjusted powertrain outputs, and reworked tyre dynamics.
The 1.2.18 patch also implements significant gameplay enhancements. In Custom Contests, the maximum grid size has been doubled from 12 to 24 cars, while the maximum session duration limit has expanded from 30 to 60 minutes. Competitive offerings have also expanded with three new Modern Prototypes tournament formats.
On the technical side, the PC build gains native direct integration with the SimHub telemetry utility, bypassing the need for external scripts. The update is rounded out by netcode optimisations, updated AI driver behaviour, refined force feedback profiles, and console graphical improvements.
