Circuito del Sele Prepares for 20th Edition of Trofeo Nappi in November
The 20th edition of the Trofeo Nappi is scheduled to take place at Circuito del Sele in Battipaglia from 13 to 15 November, gathering up to 150 competitors across diverse motorsport disciplines.
Circuito del Sele in Battipaglia is set to host the 20th edition of the Trofeo Nappi from 13 to 15 November. Organised by Scuderia Vesuvio under the direction of Valentino Acampora, the traditional end-of-season circuit event honours the memory of Natale Nappi, father of Italian racing driver Piero Nappi. Due to limited daylight hours typical of mid-November, entries for the milestone edition have been capped at 150 participants.
The competition brings together a wide variety of machinery, ranging from compact cars commonly fielded in slaloms, hillclimbs, rallies, and Formula Challenge events to high-powered GT cars and sports prototypes. The entry list is expected to feature seasoned national and world champions, alongside actor and racing driver Ettore Bassi, who is confirmed behind the wheel of a Wolf prototype.
Scrutineering and administrative checks will open proceedings on Friday, 13 November, during which drivers will also have the option to book extra track sessions to familiarise themselves with the 1,700-metre layout. The official race sessions will run across Saturday, 14 November, and Sunday, 15 November. Antonio Cappelli has been confirmed once again to serve as the race director for the weekend.
