SMP Esports Opens Pre-Qualifying for RAF Mugello Round

SMP Esports has launched the final phase of pre-qualifying for the second round of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF) virtual championship and trophy, set to take place at Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. Less than 24 hours remain before the servers close and determine the starting grids for Sunday's main races.

According to the sporting regulations, only the top 50 fastest drivers in each category will advance to the final heats. Competitors in the RAF Championship battle for grid spots behind the wheel of the BR03 sports prototype, while entrants in the RAF Trophy run touring cars in the TCR class.

As a target benchmark, the organizers highlighted the real-world lap time set by RARS champion Mikhail Simonov during TCR World Tour testing in a Cupra, which stands at 1:55.921 around the Italian circuit.
