Salita dei Monti Iblei Gears Up to Host 2026 Super CIVM Finale
Preparations are in full swing for the Monti Iblei hillclimb in Chiaramonte Gulfi, set to decide the 2026 Super CIVM title from 6 to 8 November.
Organisers at ASD Monti Iblei have entered the final stretch of preparations for the upcoming Salita dei Monti Iblei, scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 November in Chiaramonte Gulfi. This year's edition takes on added significance as it serves as the final round of the Super CIVM, Italy's second-tier national hillclimb series.
Working closely with race director Manlio Mancuso and local authorities, the organising committee aims to build on the logistical success of the 2025 event. Entries have already climbed into triple digits across both touring cars and sports prototypes, with several national champions registered alongside an expected top-class machinery debut by an international contender.
Beyond the competitive action on the tarmac, the three-day programme features road safety initiatives in collaboration with local schools, led by hillclimb driver Samuele Cassibba.
