Le Mans Ultimate Sets New Concurrent Player Record During 24-Hour Event

The official simulator Le Mans Ultimate registered an all-time peak of 11,941 simultaneous players during a special 24-hour race.

Racing simulator Le Mans Ultimate has established a new all-time record for concurrent players online. On 24 October, the title reached a peak of 11,941 simultaneous users, beating its previous best mark by nearly 3,000 players.

The massive surge in player interest was driven by a special 24-hour virtual marathon held at Circuit de la Sarthe. The endurance race served as an extensive stress test for the simulator's recently updated multiplayer and network infrastructure. Early feedback from participants regarding server stability was largely positive, though the event was not entirely without technical hiccups.

During Friday's sessions, several competitors encountered unexpected brake failures. Furthermore, approximately 260 sim racers experienced notification issues that placed them at risk of missing their server invitations, though the development team addressed and resolved the problem quickly.
