Florian Lebigre Secures 2026 Porsche Esports Supercup Title with Monza Main Race Victory
Verstappen Sim Racing driver Florian Lebigre claimed the 2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship after taking victory in the season-ending Main race at Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
The 2026 Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship Series concluded in dramatic fashion at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, with seven drivers still mathematically eligible for the crown ahead of the final event. By the end of Saturday's action, French driver Florian Lebigre of Verstappen Sim Racing took the top step of the podium in the 17-lap Main race to secure the world title.
Sebastian Job of Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing set the pace early in qualifying, posting a lap of 1:46.030 to take pole position and 10 bonus points ahead of Tristan Iglesias and Charlie Collins. Job then converted his starting position into victory during the nine-lap Sprint race, leading every lap to finish ahead of Collins and Lebigre. Points leader Mitchell deJong dropped to 13th following late contact entering the Parabolica, which temporarily handed Job a five-point championship lead heading into the inverted-grid finale.
Chaos unfolded immediately in the Main race when Job spun after contact at the Curva di Lesmo, shifting the title fight toward Alejandro Sánchez and Lebigre. After battling past Miguel Costa and avoiding further incidents through the opening chicanes, Lebigre grabbed the lead and held on over the closing stages to take the chequered flag just 0.160 seconds ahead of Costa, with Diogo Pinto finishing third.
DeJong recovered through the pack to cross the line fourth, but Lebigre's maximum 50 points for the race victory proved enough to overturn the points deficit and seal the 2026 championship.
