The 2026 TCR Italy championship heads to Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello for its final round from 30 October to 1 November, with Michele Imberti and Matteo Poloni battling for the overall crown. A 20-car grid will assemble at the Tuscan circuit, featuring 16 sequential machinery entries and four cars in the DSG division, to contest the final two 28-minute plus one lap races.

Imberti enters the finale atop the standings with 335 points behind the wheel of his Kombat Motorsport Hyundai Elantra N. The 29-year-old has led since the season opener at Imola, amassing three race victories across the campaign. Chasing him is Poloni in the Gear Works Audi RS 3 LMS, sitting on 320 points. Poloni has stayed within 15 points through remarkable consistency, scoring one second place and three third places despite being yet to take a race win.

Championship dropped scores introduce a crucial calculation into the finale, as only each driver's best ten results from twelve races count toward the final score. Third-placed Sandro Pelatti (272 points in a PMA Motorsport Cupra) and fourth-placed Denis Babuin (249 points in a Planet Motorsport Audi RS 3 LMS) retain mathematical chances, though both require an extreme run of results to overcome the leaders.

Multiple class titles also remain open. In the Master class, Pelatti leads Babuin 344 to 289, though Pelatti must drop up to 52 points while Babuin has no drops remaining after missing Vallelunga. In Under 25, BF Motorsport's Carlo Alberto Bocca holds a 259 to 201 advantage over Aikoa driver Paolo Rocca. In DSG, Francesco Miotto has already clinched the overall title and steps aside for Davide Cassetta, but the Master DSG cup is separated by a single point between Temel Camlidag and Daniele Verrocchio. The grid also includes Giacomo Prandelli, driving an Audi RS 3 LMS for Aikoa.

On-track running begins Friday, 30 October with free practice sessions at 09:30 and 12:15, followed by qualifying at 16:10. Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday, 31 October at 11:00, with the deciding Race 2 getting underway on Sunday, 1 November at 10:40.
