Asetek has officially launched its newest sim racing hardware offering, the Initium DD10 direct drive wheelbase. Priced at $499, the unit provides 10 Nm of direct drive torque out of the box, targeting the competitive mid-range market for sim racers looking to step up from gear or belt-driven setups.

The manufacturer also offers an upgrade path that allows users to increase torque output up to 14 Nm. This gives drivers additional headroom and detailed force feedback without requiring an entirely new wheelbase.

In addition to PC support, the Initium DD10 features Xbox compatibility when paired with an officially compatible steering wheel, broadening its appeal for both PC and console sim racers.
