Skolkovo Festival Virtual Races Conclude at KazanRing with BR03 and SMP TCR Russia
Online races at the virtual KazanRing circuit will close out the Skolkovo Festival program with double-header sprints for BR03 prototypes and touring cars.
The program of the Skolkovo Festival wraps up with a lineup of evening virtual races open to remote participants, with a special invitation extended to competitors from RAF-sanctioned events. For this occasion, the KazanRing circuit has been integrated into the festival's digital competition lineup.
The schedule features two separate categories, each running an individual qualifying session followed by twin 15-minute sprints. The track action begins with the BR03 sports prototypes: their 10-minute qualifying session is scheduled for 18:15, leading directly into two sprint heats starting at 18:30.
Following the prototype action, the SMP TCR Russia touring car category takes over the virtual asphalt. Qualifying for the touring machinery is set for 19:05, preceding their own pair of 15-minute races starting at 19:20.
A live broadcast is planned for competitors, who can connect webcams via a Zoom conference opening at 18:00. Event organisers have also prepared custom festival liveries, encouraging all drivers to install them before the green flag to ensure a unified grid presentation.
