iRacing Sets Schedule and Details for Homestead Championship Special Event

The NASCAR iRacing Series is set to conclude its season with the iRacing Homestead Championship, running from November 4 to November 9. Serving as the final full-length special event of the championship calendar, the race covers 400 miles (267 laps) at Homestead-Miami Speedway using the Gen 7 Next Gen NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Ford Mustang, and Toyota Camry.

The event mirrors the real-world Cup finale and includes multiple time slots split across Fixed and Open setup configurations. Fixed setup races run on Wednesday at 21:00 GMT, Friday at 02:00 GMT, Saturday at 10:00 GMT and 17:00 GMT, and Monday at 02:00 GMT. Open setup sessions are scheduled for Thursday at 02:00 GMT and 19:00 GMT, Saturday at 02:00 GMT, and Sunday at 15:00 GMT. The Saturday 02:00 GMT Open slot will feature a live broadcast of the top split via the iRacing eSports Network at iRacing.com/live.

Championship battles will be settled across both categories during the week. Shawn M Conklin enters the Open finale with a commanding lead of nearly 1,700 points over Jacob Reid, having claimed 25 victories in 49 starts. The Fixed series standings are considerably tighter: leader Maximillion Bianco, who holds four wins across 59 starts, faces a challenge from Nick Olsen, who trails by under 200 points, while third-placed Yuma Yao also remains in mathematical contention depending on Strength of Field.

Participation is open to iRacing drivers holding an Oval Class C license or higher, as well as Class D drivers with a minimum 4.0 Safety Rating. Splits will accommodate up to 37 cars, sorted by iRating. In-sim conditions will feature dynamic weather set for November 8 at 3:00 PM, with incident penalties triggered at 17x and disqualification enforced at 25x.
