Monte Erice hillclimb to stream live in 2026

20 August 2026

The Trapani Automobile Club has secured a live streaming agreement for the Monte Erice hillclimb, scheduled for 4–6 September 2026. The event will be broadcast in full across social media platforms, with production and management handled by BSL Media of San Giovanni la Punta.

The hillclimb counts towards three Italian national championships: the Italian Historic Speed Climbing Championship (CIVSA), the Italian Mountain Speed Championship (CIVM), and the Italian Classic Speed Climbing Championship (CIVSAC). The decision to provide comprehensive live coverage reflects the Trapani club's commitment to reaching competitors, teams, and enthusiasts beyond the circuit itself.

Giovanni Pellegrino, president of the Trapani Automobile Club, stated that the agreement ensures Monte Erice receives the media visibility befitting a competition of its calibre. "We want no enthusiast, no matter how far from Erice, to miss a single moment of the race," he said. "We're bringing the emotion of those hairpins directly to screens everywhere."

Monte Erice remains one of Italy's most technically demanding and historically significant hillclimbs, with its narrow ribbon of asphalt winding between rock and sea. The 2026 edition will amplify its reach well beyond the traditional trackside audience.
