20 August 2026

GT Racing will field nine entries at the 61st Trofeo Luigi Fagioli, a prestigious round of the Italian Supersalita Championship held in Gubbio. The team aims to challenge across multiple categories with a mix of experienced drivers and newcomers to the squad.

Gabry Driver, currently leading the GT Cup classification in the Supersalita series, will pilot a Ferrari 458 Challenge in pursuit of a top result to extend his championship advantage. Alex Picchi, competing under the Gretaracing banner, returns to the Gubbio event in a Peugeot 308 TCR, while Selina Prantl contests the TCR-DSG class seeking to move up the category standings. Francesco Savoia, also Gretaracing-affiliated, will campaign a Peugeot 308 in the RS Cup category on a circuit where he has previously performed well.

Kristian Fiorucci, a local driver from Scuderia Automobilistica Città di Gubbio, makes his GT Racing debut in a second Peugeot 308 Cup at his home event. Alessio De Luca of Cosenza Corse steps into a Mini JCW RS Cup entry after recent outings in a Renault 5 GTT. Vanni Tagliente continues in RS Plus following recent strong performances, while Salvo Mondino (Cosenza Corse) targets victory in RS 2.0 TB as a potential championship turning point. Filippo Braccioli, another local entry from Scuderia Automobilistica Città di Gubbio, completes the lineup in a Mini JCW Racing Start.

The Trofeo Luigi Fagioli, often referred to as the "Monte Carlo of hillclimbs," takes place on the roads around Gubbio in Umbria.
