Gaetani Racing targets Fagioli hillclimb in Italian SuperSalita round

Gaetani Racing will compete in the 61st edition of the Trofeo Luigi Fagioli, a hillclimb event taking place near Gubbio in Umbria next weekend. The race serves as the sixth round of the Italian SuperSalita Championship and counts as the first of two crucial season finals.

The team will field a Ferrari 458 Challenge Evo, recently returned to the squad following a previous incident. Driver Rosario Iaquinta will pilot the car in the GT Cup category. The hillclimb's location in the medieval town of Gubbio holds particular significance for the team.

Technical and sporting checks begin on Friday 21 August. Two reconnaissance runs are scheduled for Saturday 22 August from 09:30, with official practice and racing on Sunday 23 August starting at 09:00.
